You don't know what you don't know. (Until you do know!)

Recently I was talking to one of my agents about stage hypnosis shows. She told me that I was one of her top 3 stage hypnotists to book for events. Then she told me a little story about something that happened with one of the other top 3:

"I booked hypnotist A for a company party. I asked the person in charge if they'd ever had a hypnotist before. She said they'd had several in the past. Then, after hypnotist A's show, the client contacted me and said, "Oh, THAT'S what a hypnosis show looks like! The hypnotists we've had in the past were boring."

Moral: Make sure the entertainers you hire are actually entertaining. Believe it or not, a lot aren't!
